Before becoming the Founder of Munchkids Preschool, Ekta Ma’am spent 13 successful years in the corporate world, building her career in Human Resources. She worked closely with people, understood personalities, developed teams, and learned the power of communication, confidence, and leadership.
Her professional life was structured and stable. But deep within, her heart belonged somewhere else — in a classroom.
Even after long 9-to-6 corporate hours, she would return home and begin her second passion. She took tuition classes for children and conducted spoken English sessions for parents. Teaching was never about income; it was about impact. She saw children slowly gain confidence. She watched parents transform through better communication. And in those small evening sessions, something powerful was taking shape.
She began to notice a pattern.
Children were intelligent, but many lacked confidence. Parents were caring, but often unsure how to guide their little ones during the most crucial early years.
That was the turning point.
Ekta Ma’am realized that true transformation does not begin in higher grades — it begins in early childhood. The foundation years shape a child’s confidence, personality, communication, and curiosity for life.
With this belief, she made one of the boldest decisions of her life — to step out of the corporate world and build something of her own. Not just a school, but a nurturing space where children would feel safe, valued, and inspired.
The name “Munchkids” was born from a simple, beautiful thought. Just as little children happily munch their favorite treats, she wanted them to joyfully “munch” knowledge — naturally, playfully, and without fear. Learning should feel exciting, not pressured. It should be an experience children look forward to every day.
What started as a dream backed by 13 years of professional experience and countless evenings of teaching has today grown into a trusted preschool built on strong values, structured systems, and heartfelt care.
